Baghouse Pulse Cleaning Technology

One Simple Retrofit. Dramatically Better Baghouse Performance.

The Advanced Dedusting Injector® replaces conventional blowtubes and venturi nozzles with a patented dual-pipe injector design that delivers more air deeper into every filter bag – with fewer pulse cycles, less compressed air, and longer bag life.

2× | Air volume into bags vs. standard venturi nozzle

30%+ |  Reduction in compressed air consumption

25%+ | Longer filter bag service life

< 1 Day | Retrofit installation — no structural changes required

The Problem

Your baghouse is costing you more than it should.

Industrial baghouses in cement, waste-to-energy, coal, and other industrial operations face the same recurring problems — high differential pressure, premature bag failures, and compressed air systems running harder than designed. The root cause is usually the same: inadequate pulse cleaning. Standard venturi nozzles haven’t fundamentally changed in decades. The Advanced Dedusting Inector® has.

Want To Optimize Your Baghouse?

High Differential Pressure

Restricted airflow forces fans to work harder, consuming excess energy and limiting throughput.

Short Bag Life

Aggressive pulsing to compensate for weak cleaning tears bags early, triggering frequent changeouts and unplanned downtime.

Excessive Compressed Air Cost

Inefficient nozzles require higher pulse pressures and more frequent cleaning cycles to maintain acceptable performance.

Emissions Compliance Risk

Poor cleaning leads to dust re-entrainment, stack exceedances, and regulatory exposure under EPA and state air permits.

How It Works

Based on the Coanda Effect.

The Coanda Effect: the tendency of a jet of fluid emerging from an orifice to follow a curved surface and to entrain fluid from the surroundings so that a region of lower pressure develops.

Replace Blowtube & Venturi

The Advanced Dedusting Injector® is positioned above the bag opening (replacing the blowtube).

Amplified Air Volume for Effective Pulsing

The injector nozzle draws significantly more secondary (induced) air into the pulse stream than a conventional blowtube and venturi – delivering a higher total air volume into the bag with the same compressed air supply.

Gentle, Complete Cleaning

The amplified pulse travels the entire length of the filter bag – including the bottom – dislodging dust uniformly from the top to bottom. Standard blowtube and venturi often fail to clean the lower third of long bags, allowing blind zones to form and pressure drop to climb over time.

Gentle, Complete Cleaning

Because each pulse does more work, cleaning cycles can be less frequent and at a lower pressure. Bags endure less wear & tear, last longer, and retain a beneficial residual dust cake that maintains filtration efficiency between cleaning cycles.

Benefits & Results

What baghouse operators are achieving

Performance gains across installed Advanced Dedusting Injector installations in various industrial applications.

Cost of Ownership

The purchase price is the smallest number in the equation

The Advanced Dedusting Injector® capital cost is a fraction of what industrial operators typically spend on filter bags, compressed air energy, and unplanned downtime over a 3–5 year operating window.

Want To Optimize Your Baghouse?

Filter Bag Cost Reduction

Extending bag life from 18 months to 36+ months cuts your annual bag spend in half — or more — across a single baghouse. On large installations, this alone recovers the investment within 12–18 months.

Fan & Compressed Air Energy Savings

Lower differential pressure reduces fan motor load. Reduced pulse frequency cuts compressed air compressor runtime. Both flow directly to your plant energy budget.

Maintenance Labor Reduction

Fewer bag changeouts and less pulse system maintenance mean fewer planned outages and reduced labor cost per year. Changeout labor in large baghouses can cost tens of thousands of dollars per event.

Compliance Confidence

Consistent cleaning performance reduces the risk of permit exceedances, failed stack tests, and regulatory enforcement actions — each of which carries fines and potential production curtailment.

Typical Payback Period

Most installations recover the investment through bag savings alone within 12–18 months. Energy and maintenance savings add to the return and continue compounding year over year.
